Hive of Thinkrs — Effective Date: June 24th, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the Hive of Thinkrs website, educational programs, tutoring services, camps, workshops, events, and all related services provided by Hive of Thinkrs (“Hive of Thinkrs,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing our website, registering for a program, enrolling a student, purchasing services, participating in activities, attending events, or otherwise engaging with Hive of Thinkrs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you register a minor child for any Hive of Thinkrs service, you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and have the legal authority to accept these Terms on behalf of the child.

Services

Hive of Thinkrs provides educational and enrichment services including, but not limited to:

  • STEAM and STEM enrichment programs
  • Math enrichment programs
  • Coding and computer science instruction
  • Robotics and engineering programs
  • Minecraft-based educational programs
  • 3D design and digital fabrication programs
  • Academic tutoring
  • Test preparation services (ISEE, SSAT, SAT, ACT, AP and related exams)
  • Camps, workshops, and special events
  • School-based educational programming
  • Community and corporate educational events
  • Professional development and curriculum services
  • Online and virtual educational services

Services may be provided in person, virtually, at schools, community facilities, partner organizations, corporate locations, or private residences.

Registration and Account Information

Participants and parents/guardians agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate contact information.
  • Updating emergency contact information when necessary.
  • Providing accurate student information.
  • Notifying Hive of Thinkrs of any changes relevant to participation.

Hive of Thinkrs reserves the right to refuse enrollment or terminate services if inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete information is provided.

Educational Services Disclaimer

Hive of Thinkrs is committed to delivering high-quality educational experiences designed to support learning, critical thinking, creativity, confidence, and academic growth.

However, educational outcomes vary among students. Hive of Thinkrs does not guarantee:

  • Specific grades
  • Academic advancement
  • Admission to schools or academic programs
  • Acceptance into gifted programs
  • Scholarship awards
  • Competition outcomes
  • Standardized test scores
  • Specific score improvements
  • College admissions decisions

Student success depends upon many factors, including attendance, participation, effort, independent practice, prior knowledge, motivation, and family support.

Tuition, Fees, and Payment Terms

Unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement:

  • Tuition and fees are due according to the payment schedule provided during registration.
  • Payments must remain current for continued participation.
  • Late or declined payments may result in suspension of services.
  • Returned or rejected payments may incur additional processing fees.
  • Outstanding balances must be satisfied before future participation is permitted.

Hive of Thinkrs reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for delinquent accounts.

Cancellation, Withdrawal, Refund, and Attendance Policy

Private Tutoring and Test Preparation Services

  • A minimum of twenty-four (24) hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule a private tutoring or test preparation session.
  • No refunds will be issued for canceled sessions regardless of the reason for cancellation.
  • Sessions canceled with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice will be considered a no-show.
  • No-show sessions will be charged in full and considered used.
  • One (1) make-up session is permitted every two (2) months for private test preparation students.
  • Make-up sessions are scheduled solely based on instructor availability.
  • Missed or unused make-up opportunities do not carry forward into future periods.
  • Unused classes are not refundable, transferable, or eligible for credit.
  • If an instructor arrives for a scheduled in-home session and a responsible adult is not present, the session may be canceled and billed in full.

School Programs, Afterschool Programs, Group Classes, Workshops, and Camps

  • No refunds, credits, reimbursements, or make-up classes will be provided for missed classes, absences, vacations, illnesses, extracurricular activities, travel, school events, scheduling conflicts, or voluntary withdrawal.
  • Students who withdraw after forty percent (40%) or more of a program, camp, semester, session, or enrollment period has been completed are not eligible for refunds, credits, or reimbursement.
  • Registration fees, deposits, administrative fees, and processing fees may be non-refundable.
  • Missed classes are not eligible for make-up sessions unless specifically authorized by Hive of Thinkrs.

Program Changes

Hive of Thinkrs reserves the right to:

  • Modify schedules
  • Change instructors
  • Adjust curriculum
  • Combine classes or groups
  • Relocate classes
  • Modify delivery methods
  • Cancel programs

when necessary due to enrollment levels, staffing, facility availability, weather, emergencies, public health concerns, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Student Conduct and Participation Expectations

Students are expected to:

  • Behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow students.
  • Follow instructor directions.
  • Use equipment appropriately.
  • Participate in a safe and constructive manner.
  • Refrain from disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate conduct.

Hive of Thinkrs reserves the right to remove, suspend, or terminate participation if a student's behavior:

  • Creates safety concerns.
  • Interferes with instruction.
  • Disrupts the learning environment.
  • Damages property or equipment.
  • Violates school, facility, or program policies.
  • Involves bullying, harassment, threats, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct.

Removal due to misconduct may occur without refund.

Technology, Equipment, and Internet Use

Programs may involve the use of:

  • Computers
  • Tablets
  • Robotics equipment
  • Engineering tools
  • Electronics
  • Internet-connected applications
  • Software platforms
  • Artificial intelligence tools
  • Online collaboration systems

Participants agree to use all technology and equipment responsibly and only for educational purposes.

Parents and guardians may be financially responsible for intentional damage caused by a participant.

Artificial Intelligence and Technology-Based Learning

Hive of Thinkrs incorporates emerging technologies into instruction and learning experiences.

Students may use:

  • Artificial intelligence tools
  • Coding platforms
  • Engineering software
  • Digital design applications
  • Educational software
  • Online learning environments

Parents acknowledge and consent to their student's participation in technology-based educational activities.

Hive of Thinkrs does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, appropriateness, or availability of content generated by third-party technology platforms or AI systems.

Intellectual Property

All Hive of Thinkrs curriculum, lesson plans, educational methodologies, assessments, reports, instructional materials, project frameworks, training materials, videos, graphics, branding, trademarks, website content, and proprietary educational resources remain the exclusive property of Hive of Thinkrs.

No content may be:

  • Copied
  • Reproduced
  • Distributed
  • Shared
  • Published
  • Modified
  • Sold
  • Licensed

without prior written authorization from Hive of Thinkrs.

Student-created work remains the property of the student; however, Hive of Thinkrs retains ownership of all instructional frameworks, curriculum, and underlying educational methodologies.

Recording, Photography, and Content Distribution Restrictions

To protect student privacy and proprietary educational content:

Participants, parents, guardians, schools, and organizations may not record, livestream, photograph, reproduce, publish, distribute, or share classes, tutoring sessions, camps, workshops, assessments, instructional content, or educational materials without prior written consent from Hive of Thinkrs.

Unauthorized recording or distribution may result in removal from programs and may constitute a violation of intellectual property rights.

Media Release

Photographs, videos, interviews, student projects, classroom activities, and event participation may be used by Hive of Thinkrs for:

  • Marketing materials
  • Social media
  • Websites
  • Newsletters
  • Promotional campaigns
  • Public relations activities
  • Educational publications

Media use is governed by the consent provided during registration.

Parents may revoke future media authorization by providing written notice. Hive of Thinkrs will make commercially reasonable efforts to discontinue future use of such materials within forty-five (45) days of receipt of written notice. Previously published materials may not be capable of removal.

Transportation Disclaimer

Hive of Thinkrs does not provide transportation services unless expressly authorized through a separate written agreement.

Parents, guardians, schools, and partner organizations are solely responsible for transportation arrangements and student supervision before arrival and after departure from any Hive of Thinkrs activity.

Hive of Thinkrs assumes no responsibility or liability for transportation-related incidents.

Hive of Thinkrs instructors and staff are prohibited from transporting students in personal vehicles unless expressly authorized under a separate written agreement executed by Hive of Thinkrs.

In-Home Instruction and Supervision Requirements

For tutoring and educational services conducted in a student's home, a responsible adult must be present on the premises for the entire duration of the session.

A responsible adult includes:

  • A parent or legal guardian;
  • An adult family member designated by the parent or guardian; or
  • Another adult authorized by the parent or guardian.

Hive of Thinkrs instructors are not authorized to:

  • Enter a residence when a student is home alone;
  • Conduct sessions with an unsupervised minor;
  • Provide childcare or babysitting services;
  • Assume custodial responsibility for a student;
  • Remain at a residence after determining that no responsible adult is present.

If no responsible adult is present upon arrival, the instructor may immediately cancel the session and leave the premises. Such sessions may be treated as no-shows and billed in accordance with Hive of Thinkrs' cancellation policies.

Parents and guardians remain solely responsible for the supervision, safety, care, and welfare of their child before, during, and after any in-home session.

Hive of Thinkrs reserves the right to discontinue in-home services if this policy is repeatedly violated.

Health, Safety, and Emergency Procedures

Parents and guardians are responsible for informing Hive of Thinkrs of any:

  • Allergies
  • Medical conditions
  • Learning accommodations
  • Behavioral concerns
  • Safety-related information

that may affect participation.

Hive of Thinkrs is not a healthcare provider and does not administer medical treatment.

For programs conducted at schools, camps, churches, community centers, and partner facilities, emergency medical authorizations and procedures shall be governed by the host institution's policies and the authorizations provided by parents or guardians.

In emergency situations, Hive of Thinkrs personnel may contact emergency services or seek emergency assistance when reasonably necessary to protect the health or safety of a participant.

Independent Contractors and Personnel

Hive of Thinkrs may engage employees, contractors, consultants, instructors, teaching assistants, and other authorized personnel to deliver educational services.

All such individuals are authorized representatives of Hive of Thinkrs and are subject to company policies, training requirements, and applicable screening procedures.

Third-Party Facilities and Partner Organizations

Many Hive of Thinkrs programs operate within schools, churches, community centers, corporate facilities, and other partner locations.

Participants agree to comply with:

  • Hive of Thinkrs policies;
  • Host facility policies;
  • School rules and procedures; and
  • Applicable safety regulations.

Violations may result in removal from participation.

Communications Consent

By registering for Hive of Thinkrs services, you consent to receive communications including:

  • Email communications
  • Phone calls
  • Text messages (SMS)
  • Scheduling updates
  • Program announcements
  • Billing notices
  • Emergency communications
  • Customer service communications

SMS communications are subject to the SMS Terms of Service presented during registration.

You may opt out of promotional email communications at any time; however, Hive of Thinkrs may continue to send service-related, billing, scheduling, and emergency communications necessary to administer your account and participation in our programs.

Website Use

Users agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems;
  • Interfere with website functionality;
  • Introduce malicious software;
  • Violate intellectual property rights;
  • Use the website for unlawful purposes.

Hive of Thinkrs reserves the right to restrict or terminate access for misuse.

Disclaimer of Warranties

All services, educational materials, websites, and digital platforms are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

Hive of Thinkrs disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted service.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hive of Thinkrs, its owners, officers, directors, employees, instructors, contractors, agents, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from participation in any Hive of Thinkrs program or service.

Any liability arising from participation in Hive of Thinkrs services shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

Participants, parents, guardians, schools, organizations, and users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hive of Thinkrs and its personnel from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • Violations of these Terms;
  • Participant misconduct;
  • Misuse of equipment;
  • Violations of applicable laws;
  • Violations of third-party rights.

Force Majeure

Hive of Thinkrs shall not be responsible for delays, interruptions, cancellations, or failures resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Severe weather
  • Public health emergencies
  • Government actions
  • Internet outages
  • Utility failures
  • Facility closures
  • Labor disputes
  • Technology failures

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Florida.

Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Changes to Terms

Hive of Thinkrs reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.

Updated versions will be posted on the Hive of Thinkrs website and become effective immediately upon posting.

Continued use of Hive of Thinkrs services constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
