Hive of Thinkrs is a creative learning lab where students from Kindergarten through 12th grade explore technology, science, coding, math, design, music production and more through game-based, hands-on learning. Our programs help kids build real-world skills, confidence, and curiosity that last a lifetime. We also do Test Preparation for standardized, private school and college admissions tests such as SAT, ACT, SSAT and ISEE.

We're not worksheets and lectures. We're invention, play, and problem-solving. Every lesson blends fun and learning — whether students are programming a robot, crafting a digital game, or leveling up in algebra.

Both. We offer flexible options to meet your family's needs — in-person at home or at one of our partner locations, or fully online with interactive tools like stylus tablets and digital dashboards.

We currently offer in person STEM programs in South Florida, partnering with schools across Miami Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. For families outside the area, our live online tutoring and test prep programs are available nationwide, allowing students across the U.S. to learn with us from anywhere.

In our test prep private tutoring, we use proctored practice tests to measure progress and identify each student’s specific strengths and areas for improvement. These results guide our instruction, allowing us to adjust sessions and target exactly what each student needs to improve performance and confidence.

Tutor availability depends on specific tutor and their current schedule. During the last week of each month, we reach out to confirm availability and finalize the schedule for the following month.

At the end of each month, we coordinate with families to confirm the tutoring schedule for the upcoming month. This confirmed schedule is then used to generate the monthly invoice.

Yes, changes are possible depending on tutor availability. Permanent schedule changes must be requested before the monthly schedule is finalized.

Yes, sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice.

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required. Requests made with less notice are considered same-day cancellations.

Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice are still charged, as the tutor has already reserved that time.

Your invoice includes all tutoring sessions scheduled and confirmed for the month, based on the schedule agreed upon at the end of the previous month.

Invoices are usually sent at the beginning of each month, once the monthly schedule has been finalized.

If a session was scheduled and paid for but cannot be rescheduled due to limited availability, the amount will be automatically applied as a credit toward the next invoice.

Yes. We run monthly proctored SAT, ACT, ISEE, and SSAT practice exams to simulate real test conditions and adjust learning plans accordingly.

Our team includes experienced, background-checked professionals with STEM or education degrees. Many also teach advanced learners during the school year at top schools in Miami.

We maintain small class sizes with a maximum of 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio for most programs. This ensures personalized attention and hands-on learning for every student.

No prior experience is necessary! Our programs a learning progression that starts with beginners and challenges our advanced students. We assess each child's skill level and place them in appropriate groups. Our instructors adapt teaching methods to match each student's experience level.

We provide all necessary equipment and materials for in-person programs, including computers, robotics kits, and software. For online programs, we provide a list of required materials and help parents set up the necessary software at home.

We offer custom STEAM and academic programs for K–12 during school hours and after school. From Minecraft, robotics and coding to creative design, music production, advanced math and executive function, our after-school options are hands-on, turnkey, and beloved by students. We have worked with various schools in STEM and Math Enrichment for the past 11 years.
