The Carnival Is Not Coming to Town. Your Child Is Building It.
Get ready for RoboCarnival, a unique week at Hive of Thinkrs Robotics Camp where young engineers design and build their very own robotic amusement park attractions. Using VEX GO Robotics, campers engage in hands-on challenges, developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
One of the most anticipated weeks at Hive of Thinkrs Robotics Camp is RoboCarnival, a hands-on engineering challenge where students create their own robotic amusement park. Using VEX GO Robotics, campers will design attractions that spin, move, and surprise.
They will work with gears, motion, sensors, and programming to turn an idea into a functioning build. This is not a week of watching robots or following instructions without thinking. Instead, campers will actively engage in the engineering design process, bringing their creative visions to life.
What Campers Will Experience
- Design their own robotic attraction
- Build and program working mechanisms
- Test what moves and identify what does not
- Adjust their designs when something fails
- Use creativity and engineering to improve the final result
Every decision matters. How fast should it move? What makes it turn? How can the structure become stronger? What happens when the first plan does not work? That is where the real learning happens, as campers iterate and innovate to overcome challenges.
Why RoboCarnival is Unique
Each week of summer camp at Hive of Thinkrs features a new theme, and RoboCarnival stands out as a completely different robotics challenge. There is no repeat week later in the summer, making this a truly unique opportunity for young builders.
For children who love building, machines, amusement parks, or figuring out how things work, this is the week to join and unleash their inner engineer.
